To spark curiosity and elevate engagement with the Purple product line, we launched a multifaceted marketing campaign that painted the town purple—literally and figuratively. At the heart of our efforts was an eye-catching out-of-home (OOH) campaign, paired with a complementary digital strategy, all designed to celebrate the grand opening of the new Purple showroom in Austin. Our approach focused on creating an immersive, hyperlocal experience that not only introduced the new showroom but also celebrated the brand’s signature Gel Technology.
The campaign centered around encouraging direct interaction with Purple's innovative Gel Technology, both through physical touchpoints in the OOH campaign and through visually captivating digital content. This strategic mix highlighted how Purple’s sleep solutions can enhance everyday life, while also bringing the brand closer to the Austin community.
We connected with over 60,000 people through dynamic, high-impact OOH placements, including digital billboards and transit ads. These were strategically designed to reach key audiences during peak times when people are most attuned to the importance of sleep—dawn and dusk—when Purple has the greatest connection with its customers. The campaign also featured dawn and dusk virtual yoga sessions, alongside strategic influencers who helped amplify the message online, generating more than 100,000 social media impressions and creating a buzz that spread well beyond Austin.
