SONGS OF SUMMER
Spotify hosted the ultimate summer kick-off party with a rooftop soiree and music trivia showdown to celebrate Songs of Summer at the Hotel 50 Bowery Rooftop in LES of NYC. The party was a celebration of summer music nostalgia tied to the reintroduction of Spotify’s Your Summer Rewind playlist.
At the event attended by press and influencers, Spotify’s Xavier "X" Jernigan hosted the trivia competition where 12 teams competed for fun prizes. Teams were comprised of members of the press from top-tier media outlets like Buzzfeed, Vogue, Good Morning America, and People, as well as influencers like designer Duckie Confetti and model Rosa Crespo. The winning team was repped by journalists from Billboard, CBS Sunday Morning, and Blavity. Vibes were provided by DJ Steph Cakes, and singer-songwriter Bazzi performed for the crowd as the sun set over Manhattan. The event saw 120 guest and generated over 32 million press impressions, along with 41 social post by influencers which garnered 17 million impressions.
